Warm Cheesy Spread with Bacon Crumbles, Maw-Maw Style
Ingredients
• 2 jars Kraft Old English Sharp Cheese • 1 small can Parmesan cheese • 2 sticks margarine, softened, NOT melted • 1 egg, beaten • 1 lb. bacon, cooked, drained, and crumbled • 1 loaf day-old bread, sliced
Directions
1. Blend the cheese, Parmesan, margarine, egg, and bacon together in a large bowl until well combined. 2. Spread generously on slices of day-old bread. 3. Cut each slice into quarters or thirds. (I do thirds they look like cheese sticks) 4. Bake at 350°F for about 15 minutes, until bubbly and golden. 5. Serve warm. Great for Brunch with some bubbly You can freeze! Spread the cheesy goodness on the toast and layering it with parchment paper in a recyclable bag or bowl place flat in the freezer and done mash the bread!! :) Marie’s swap: You can omit the egg and 1 jar of sharp cheese, and add 1 jar Kraft Pimento Cheese instead. Also some SPICE is nice jalapenos chipped fine
